
It's hard to tell from the before pictures, but this deck had seen better days. Held up with many posts just set in dirt, this deck also had several rotten boards.
The new deck was expanded about 2 feet further out, attached to the foundation of the house and posts were set on post bases anchored into reinforced piers. This deck is not going anywhere for a long time!
